TPL Job Descriptions
WELDER/FABRICATOR
1-2 years of welding/fabrication experience preferred
Job Duties:
- Fabricate, weld and inspect products in safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and tools
- Fill out quality reports on all builds
- Inspection of geometric dimensioning and tolerances, and entering that data into company quality database
- Participation in process improvement
Candidate Qualities/Skill Set:
- Comply with all company rules, regulations and requirements
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Able to read blueprints, set-up sheets, routers and scheduling board
- Able to work in a high noise and heat environment, including the physical hazards of physical labor and equipment moving (lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally)
INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN (ROAD CREW)
Must be able to work out of town (NC, SC, GA) as needed; may include overnight upon occasion and based on scheduling needs.
Job Duties:
- Installation of piping, tanks, pumps, and other miscellaneous parts for lubrication systems
- Repairs of system parts on-site at customer location(s)
- Removal and transport of parts back to TPL warehouse for further repair/replacement
- General mechanical knowledge and dexterity preferred
Candidate Qualities/Skill Set:
- No experience required; training will be provided
- No formal education required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- No fear of heights
PRODUCT ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)
No experience required.
Job Duties:
- Primary responsibilities include: Assembly of lube skids and tanks, including but not limited to: hydraulic hose assembly, fittings, pump installation, and testing
- Secondary responsibilities include: Shipping/receiving, parts inventory, and assistance with customer orders and in-person payments
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and tools
Requirements:
- Driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Basic knowledge of mechanic hand tools (wrenches, tape measure, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at the time
- *Forklift certification preferred, but not required
WAREHOUSE/INVENTORY CONTROL (FULL TIME)
No experience required.
Job Duties:
- Receive, account, and deduct inventory
- Assist shipping and receiving department
- Assist with customer orders for walk-in customers
- Supply equipment list to purchasing department
- Help assemble products as needed
Requirements:
- Driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Computer skillset a plus (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- *Forklift certification preferred, but not required
GENERAL MECHANIC (TRUCK SHOP)
No experience or education level required
Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:00AM-4:00PM
Job Duties:
- Assembly of lubrication vehicle products (mounting, fitting, etc.)
- Finish line tasks as required
Candidate Qualities/Skill Set:
- Attention to fine details
- Ability to follow instruction in a hands-on setting
- Knowledge of pipe sizes, wrench sizes, tape measure proficiency
